Jordan Kessler is a 2001 graduate of the Massachusetts College Of Art in Boston with a Bachelor Of Fine Arts degree in filmmaking. While in his junior year at Mass Art, Jordan had taken a liking to still photgraphy and pursued his interest by taking as many elective classes as he could prior to graduation. About a year later a college friend called him and offered him a job at a fine art black and white printing lab that this friend managed.
It was at this job, which Jordan still holds, where he was able to really cut his teeth in photography. Learning the art of custom fine art printing and the nuances in the craft, Jordan became more aware of what goes into making a good picture and and also a good print. He has helped print shows for the MOMA and various other museums and galleries throughout the world, working for and along side some of the most important figures in fine art photography.
